Revisit Parrtjima's tenth edition in 2025, with the Timelessness theme, new Indigenous artworks and a Darwin Symphony Orchestra performance.

Parrtjima celebrated its tenth edition from 4 to 13 April 2025 with Timelessness, a theme exploring connections between generations. New installations joined returning favourites at Alice Springs Desert Park, while an orchestral concert and the festival's first comedy night added fresh experiences to the anniversary programme.

Molly Hunt's Three Generations of Station Women used animation to share the stories of Indigenous stockwomen, with a soundtrack by Mark Coles Smith. Bobby West Tjupurrula's work inspired Hypnotic Reverberations, bringing light and mist together. Transforming Light & Country drew on Lyall Giles' paintings, allowing visitors to activate changing light and sound through drums.

On 12 April, Darwin Symphony Orchestra performed outdoors against the MacDonnell Ranges with Desert Divas Catherine Satour, Casii Williams and Bronwyn Stuart. Its touring programme included Gurrulwa Guligi (Big Wind), created by Bilawara Lee and Netanela Mizrahi in response to Cyclone Tracy. The concert brought orchestral music into Parrtjima's desert setting on a new scale.

Warren H. Williams and Bumpy also featured in the music programme. Andy Saunders and Sean Choolburra appeared in the debut comedy night, while Buy Blak Markets returned for the opening weekend. Alongside Grounded and the ranges show, these experiences gave the tenth edition a programme that spanned visual art, live performance and direct encounters with artists.
