Bousta & Bubalo
April 8 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Introducing two remarkable First Nations artists sharing the stage: Bousta and Bronwyn Stuart (Bubalo). Bousta, a proud Arrernte man from Mparntwe (Alice Springs) and currently studying in Adelaide, is a Hip-Hop artist who weaves thought-provoking lyrics in both English and Arrernte. By showcasing his traditional language, he aims to empower Indigenous youth and inspire them to chase their dreams.
Bronwyn Stuart, hailing from Ntaria (Hermannsburg) 131km west of Alice Springs, proves distance is no barrier when passion runs in your veins. A talented country singer-songwriter and a member of Desert Divas Volume II, Bronwyn first got hooked on recording her own music through the 2014 Sista Sounds program. She’s part of a proud musical legacy, counting Warren H. Williams, Daryl Kantawarra, and Herbie Laughton among her relatives.
Together, Bousta and Bubalo bring their distinct sounds—Hip Hop and Country—to celebrate the richness of Indigenous music and culture, bridging communities with stories told in powerful words and melodies.
