Southeast Desert Metal Band

The most isolated metal band in the world, Southeast Desert Metal are from Santa Teresa, known as Ltyentye Apurte, a small Aboriginal community in Central Australia. The Eastern Arrernte band are hardened from a decade of playing across the rigid outback landscape. They’ve developed a sound that reflects their surroundings: dangerous and distinct. They have toured nationally with their latest album Break the Silence, and have appeared on comedian Adam Hills’ international TV program The Last Leg.
